The whole family will enjoy this Holiday event! Come experience the story of Christmas told with LIVE animals and actors, exciting sounds and smells, and beautiful set design! This is a FREE 35-minute walk-through event held indoors at Old time Baptist Church in Hamburg, NY. This year the event will be held for two nights only, on Friday & Saturday, December 15th & 16th, 2023. Guided tours begin approximately every 5 minutes, Friday the event will run from 5:30pm-8pm with a special Sensory Friendly Time from 5pm-5:30pm. Saturday, it will run from 4pm-8pm. After the walkthrough, guests are invited to enjoy some light refreshments before heading home.

Members and friends of Old Time Baptist Church participate as cast members, planning committee members, scene constructors, promoters, musicians, cookie bakers, hosts, and hostesses. Several local WNY farms provide live animals and animal care for this event. The event is inspired by the excitement we have felt as we’ve discovered for ourselves the Good News of God’s Word and the desire we have to share that excitement with others.

At this year’s 7th annual Destination Bethlehem, travel to the ancient town of Bethlehem to pay your taxes and to be counted in the Roman census. Hear the shepherds in the field talk about the angels’ proclamation. Learn about the wise men from the east and their amazing journey. Listen to the prophet Simeon talk about the promise of the coming Savior. Tour the city marketplace alive with activity and visit the Bethlehem Inn. As you explore, try to avoid the anger of the Roman Soldiers and the thieving tax collectors. Once you make it to the stable, see the promised Messiah, now come to earth, as a baby asleep in a manger. Experience all this and more at Destination Bethlehem!
